Seriously my favorite Catholic app of all time.

I’ve been using the app for a while now and cannot express how great the new direction the app has taken since the past couple of updates has been.

What initially drew me to the app was all the resources that they have (it’s been wonderful watching them increase the amount they have over time). However, with the inclusion of The Harvest, it’s really given the app new life and has given me another reason to come back to the app each day to see what new stories, videos or podcasts they might have for me today.

It’s been a great addition to my faith and prayer life. Essentially it has all the benefits of Catholic social media (and more!), without the ugly sides of it. Great job. I’m excited to see what the future holds for the app.

It’s Like Fitbit for your Faith

Wouldn’t it be great if you could take the goal setting, tools, helpful hints, and social engagement of our fitness apps and have that for our Faith?
Wouldn’t it be wonderful to know others were lifting your intentions up in prayer! What about that friend you think of and say a prayer for, what if they could feel it? I mean really... their phone buzzez a notification that says “Joe just prayed for your intention.”

You want Catholify!

Here is an app that closes the distance from our neighbor in the pews. We can actively walk with each other, encourage each other, set our own goals, activate reminders, and more features seem to be coming all the time.

When I first used the app, it seemed like a more conducive place to hold conversation among some Catholic buddies, but even now as I am writing this I’m getting notified that people I’ve never met are praying for my intention.

Wow!

I am sharing with folks in my parish and diocese. Here is a long overdue tool, being crafted with love, Faith, and prayer for all of us!

I want to love this app

I want to love this app but I don’t. I find it extremely frustrating and very user unfriendly. I received an invitation via email to join Million Rosaries to Mary beginning today, May 1. I would like to accept this offer, however can find absolutely nothing on the app to lead me to join or begin. And today is the first of Mary’s month - May.
I found this same frustration last year as well when I participated. I gave up on the app and just logged in online.
I cannot seem to find a way to delete my announcements from Catholify either. How do I do that?
As I said, I want to love this app and I even donated money recently to Catholify in the hope that it would somehow help bring God’s word to others but if they struggle with this app as I do, they may be turned off.

Thank you so much for your prayers, support, and honesty of Catholify! We are working hard to make this a beautiful platform of prayer for the Church. Our ministry involves not just the support and development of the app, but also our website, live events, and social media channels. Our goal is to be a digital ministry across the board. While we are still a small but growing team, we are doing our best to unify these efforts across the board. 

Last year when we initially launched the Million Rosaries campaign, we decided to keep it primarily online (website/YouTube/Facebook/Instagram) so that more people could find and share it, even without the app. This year we have done something similar, by hosting the campaign on the website and referencing it from within the app. We are currently working on building more of these tools into the app and we appreciate your patience! In order to participate, simply visit https://catholify.com and press "I Prayed A Rosary". This can also be accomplished from the banner on the homepage of the app.

As far as your messages go in your inbox, rather than deleting them you should be able to leave the group and/or conversation. The only exceptions are the Catholify announcements group (where we send our announcements), and the group pages for your selected parish and selected diocese. We are in the process of overhauling this as well to separate general announcements/notifications from inbox messages / conversations, as we are currently trying to accommodate both from one place.
