Sad to see such a poor app with such a nice product

I was really excited to get my Canvia and am impressed with how detailed the images are.

The app has a lot of problems and is poorly designed. You would think that for as much as the spend on the product and marketing that they would invest more in the interface for their product. It doesn’t synch well with the web site. The app itself is clunky and cumbersome to navigate. I could keep going on but don’t want to waste my time

Its really sad

Worst app ever

By using the website, desktop app, (which was hard to find) and the mobile app, I finally after an hour plus of frustration, got a playlist of my personal artwork to play. Took about 6 tries though, doing the same steps and getting different results. The definition of insanity. This entire system is in need of a major overhaul as nothing actually works with regularity. Function is seriously different on mobile vs desktop vs web. Had to use all three just to upload photos to a playlist. Playlist would not play on mobile. Starting with a fresh restart and a fresh login on web seemed to be the only way it would let me play a playlist. All I wanted was a playlist of art to play, like an old screensaver from the early 2000s. So frustrating for what should be easy. Display pictures on a playlist like a slideshow. Took forever and I’m still not sure why it worked this time. TLDR: 500 dollar picture frame was incredibly difficult to get to display pictures in a playlist

The worse app ever!

One would expect a $500+ photo frame to have a better application. It’s like all the money went towards making the product and advertising it and only $100 was left in the budget to design the iPhone app to make it work. It is really user unfriendly. You waste an enormous amount of time going back and forth picture by picture trying to upload the photos. Once you upload the photos you can’t even see it on the phone app. If you can’t see the photo then you can’t delete it.

The easiest way to see your photos is through the desktop and by uploading photos to their server. If you upload to their server then everyone at Canvia has access to your photos. Also if this company goes out of business then you are left with a useless expensive device. Someone at Canvia needs to get their act together and make this more user friendly.
