Useful, better price than similar apps

This is a standard calorie counting app based on your different needs that also tracks workout and activity calories burned. The initial questionnaire will ask what your goals are and why. I selected weight loss with a weight goal of 15 lbs less than what I am now. The food and exercise tracking is straight forward and simple. I am able to find the foods I eat with ease, so maybe this was addressed since the last reviewer. Sometimes the food names get cut off especially if they have a long name but no other complaints.

Still Going To Use

I love this app for its simplicity and basic organization. The colors are not overly bright or overly dull, which is nice for those of us who are overstimulated at times.

I have a couple complaints that I hope the makers will fix - if they do, I would consider this app worth paying for.

1. The database search tool is difficult to use. Other apps I have used are much more user friendly - allowing me to use brand name, etc, to narrow down the search. In this app, the more words I’m searching for, the less likely I am to find what I am looking for. Which means that I end up spending far too much time for a simple tracking app scrolling through the many options in order to find my food.

2. Creating my own food is super confusing. Also, the heck is going on with the 100g measurement?

3. I cannot put partial servings in - or at least I cannot figure out how to do so. So if I eat 1.5 servings of something, I have to either put 1 or 2. This reduces accuracy.

Other than these things, I am enjoying the app so far. I want to love this app and use it daily. 🤞🏻these things are changed soon.

Food tracking simplified

I love the features of this app! It’s easy to personalize your daily goals and keep track of your progress each day. I can search for foods in the broad database. The barcode scanner really saves me time logging my food. I can also save foods and recipes/meals so I don’t have to manually enter those each time. It connects with my Apple Watch so my steps are logged each day. I love tracking my steps so having this all in one place is so convenient!

Scanning food with the scanner is the fastest way to find the exact food if it has a barcode. iUcalorie syncs with the Health app to obtain your movement, steps and weight data. This way, you can have a broader view of your overall health and adjust your nutrition based on it.
