BUDGETING MADE EASY!
This new update is fantastic now ! A few months ago I didn’t know if I’d like the new update but now all bugs have been fixed and the NEW FEATURES ARE GREAT! the best being you can simply see all the categories of your monthly expenses & it makes budgeting SO EASY! I no longer have to keep a spreadsheet or write down everything for my account. VERY WORTH IT, KEEP THESE FEATURES CAL COAST!
Why? Why? Why did they break something that was fixed?
I have been with this credit union since 1980: 44 years. I never had a problem with the previous online banking app, was very convenient. Easy to navigate, no problems, no bugs. They then force us to use this one & it's been nothing but a nightmare. Constantly kicks me off, shows it downloads and then it kicks me right back to having to update again. 25 minute wait to get ahold of someone on the phone, which I just had to do, and got the most condescending man on the phone; seriously rude (probably not a good time to write a review when you're mad, or is that actually the best time?). Acted as tho I was the only one having this problem, then said they are doing abt 3 updates a week so that's "Just what I have to do,"OR "I could "always come in and take care of it there." Say what??? The whole reason for online banking is so you don't have to go in there! No idea when or If they will get this sorted out, but my guess is if they have to update it 3 times a week it won't be soon. Every time I use it I determine to change CU's but I've been with them for so long, but then again you can only keep going through this for so long; I'm at the point of 'done.' Anyone thinking abt opening an account here, don't! Read the reviews with the understanding that for each one there's 1000s that have not been written.
Everyone hates this app, where are they getting the 4.6 stars when just a month ago it was barely 2 stars??
Can’t verify balances thru external third party
I am looking for a place to rent and have been postponed or denied because for whatever reason, the third party cannot online verify my account balances thru Cal Coast Credit Union. If I am denied again, I am closing this account and moving to a bigger more effective bank with online capabilities to do this. In addition, I can’t view previous BillPay transactions. I had a deadline for a bill due tomorrow 12/14 and tried to schedule the transaction today. A strange red notification came up about not being able to process the transaction before a random Wednesday. I don’t want to process two BillPays by mistake and without a transaction history, I can’t view if the one I initially processed with an error notification about a Wednesday delivery actually went thru. This is the worst banking app I have ever experienced. And on top of all this, the app “closes” for scheduled maintenance during weekends or evenings when people are not working and may finally have a moment to take care of banking transactions online. Ineffective, limited billpay capabilities, and lack of basic inter-agency transactions. BOOO!!!
