Brixx app is terrible

Brixx is a great restaurant. The app is really bad. On many occasions, I have used the app to order. By the time I go to check out, I get a message “This location is not accepting orders” I end up calling in my pickup order, then pay in the store. The app is simply a menu app with briken ordering functionality. It used to work, but the order issue started in early 2023 and has not been fixed.

Better app than before but still needs work

The old app was worthless but did have some features that need to be incorporated into the new app. Now you can’t add comments or requests to food items like swapping out Gorgonzola cheese for goat cheese. For instance if you want half mushrooms and half no mushrooms, your only ordering option is over the phone or in person. Also I’ve tried to check out twice and redeem a reward but it says there is an error with my cart. I remove the reward and then I can submit my order.

Better app than before for sure but still needs to be brought up to par with other food ordering apps.

Opportunity for lots of improvements

The first thing that was asked was to add a card to get a $5 off coupon. I can understand providing marketing data (email and phone) to get a coupon. Why a credit card? This lost my trust a bit.

I then tried to build my own pizza and found out that isn’t an option at all, nor can I add anything simple to an existing pizza. I then was told that the available time was “unknown”. I was then told that the credit card was invalid, but upon another attempt it worked. Eventually I got the order in but it was a rough experience to get there.
