Would give more stars
Please add a feature to put the smart switch on a timer. Like once a light switch is turned on, it will automatically turn off after the time has passed was set. Essentially a timer. My kids leave their bedroom and bathroom light on all the time. It would be a nice option to have a set timer. Or a notification to the phone asking if the light should be turned off. There’s essentially no reason to own these switches without the features.
Can’t create an account
Installed product and now trying to use app to control product. When I go to create an account the app says “sorry, there was a(n) error in setting password for user,” and it won’t create an account. I’ve done all the basic tech stuff like restart phone, delete and redownload app, double checked the password standards and requirements, and I still get the same error message.
Seems like this app needs to be updated and/or something on Eatons end needs to be fixed. Until then I give this app a one star - zero star if I could. Depending on how this is resolved I’ll update my review.
Frustrating
Why do we have to log in each time we need to access our device? The “Remember Me” should keep us logged in. Also zero way to connect Alexa through the app - the technology is old enough that this should be a flawless integration. Frustrated and dissatisfied. Will be looking for a different device that works as things should work today.
