Favorite until it breaks
This is by far my favorite app for transparent widgets, UNTIL it breaks. Every time there is an iOS update the transparency stops working and becomes misaligned, and certain widgets (like the weather) will just gray out entirely. It’s so frustrating to wait with no updates from the developer on the timeline for a fix (or even just acknowledging the need for a fix), each time I wonder if they’ve stopped updating entirely and I need to find a new app. Eventually I’ll find a replacement during one of those gaps and stop coming back.
the only one worth getting
i never leave reviews, but I’ve had this particular app for at least a year now maybe two, and I thought it was deserving of one.
i’ve tried so many of these kinds of apps to get the look I wanted on my home screen. they have never asked me for a review that I can remember of and there are no ads. everything I actually want to use is free. every now and then there’s a little bug but nothing that’s not fixed by going into the app. I hope they only continue to be so user-friendly.
UPDATE: UseFUL
Edit: Turns out, this was a strange occurance that was fixed by rebooting my phone. I don’t know why that was necessary, but not the developer’s fault. This app is useful as it can be given Apple’s widget-size minimum of 2x2 (a 1x4 would be great!)

I followed this app’s instructions to add a blank widget, until what I saw no longer matched what they were showing. There was no widget for this app in the widget drawer when trying to add, and I suspect it’s because I didn’t pay to unlock all the blank widgets. I’ll correct this review if I’m wrong.
