The restaurant app I’ve been searching for!
This app is so neat! I love that the app has a surprise me button, different categories of cuisine, and price points. Once a restaurant is selected/pulled up, the menu items are RIGHT THERE. No more scrolling through endless pictures to see what the item you’re interested in looks like. Additionally, I like that the website, an option to call the restaurant, and the hours and address are prominently displayed and easy to find.
Lastly, though the catalog is not yet large, there are already some places I have not heard of before despite living here for several decades. Looking forward to many more updates!
Just what I was looking for
I was in need of an App that could help me decide what to eat and how to easily locate the place. The UI is easy going and the app functions well. Houston is such a big city and there’s always a new restaurant to try so many areas to explore. What separates this app from using your normal go-to’s like google maps is that Bitescene doesn’t have your average fast food places. You can tell the developer has good taste and knows quite a few spots that even I (a Houston native) haven’t heard of. I can’t wait to see the restaurant catalog grow!
Perfect when you like to try new foods!
I love that this app has pictures of the foods on the menu’s. Sometimes you may see the name of the food on a menu and you don’t know what it is so you don’t get it fearing you’ll spend money on something you might not like. This app makes it easy to pick and choose from items that look appetizing or may not look like your type of food! If your a person that love’s to try new foods and go out dinning in new places, this is definitely the app for you!!!
