Ratings and Reviews
Data collection useless?
Well, the device seems to be taking pulse and oxygen levels ok. And it seems to connect fine to iPhone by Bluetooth ok. But date and time stamps are wrong. At first, I could manually adjust day and time in the app since date stamp showed 2019 (here in 2022). But most recent reading aren’t showing up with 2019 date stamps. It seems like it now has the right date and year but definitely not the right time. Don’t even know if times are consistently progressing with just an offset of x hrs & y min. So now I don’t know which entry needs to be adjusted. Have not found any info about how to set/change time in the device - it’s completely missing from product documentation and nothing on the web either. Frustrating because this should be so basic.
Incompetent, maybe a scam, hardware and software Imboth
I bought the BM 67 at CVS. What a disappointment. The first thing you’re supposed to do is enter the date and time, and yet, the first category which appears to be time is some unidentified number, “20 15” that scrolls up to 41 and then magically is at 11 (The 20 just remains in place ). Has anyone figured out what that is? What number that I should be setting as a range from 20 11 to 20 41? I can’t figure it out, but it sure isn’t what should happen when you’re following the instructions. Then I’m going through the rigmarole to launch this app, after reading the execrable terms of their service, and the machine is supposed to pair by displaying a six digit number on the BM 67. The number is not displayed. By the way, I’ve had my blood pressure checked hundreds of times, this machine is downright PAINFUL. Perhaps they want to discourage you from using it, figuring you won’t return it, if you just put it on the shelf and ignore it. If you read the other reviews here this company makes no response. They put out a borderline defective product. That’s why I suggest this could be a downright scam. CVS needs to source this equipment from some better company. And this company needs to be prosecuted for very shady business practices. I can’t imagine this is legal in Germany, or anywhere with a working court system.
It’s for advanced users but still not very helpful
It’s a decent app assuming you know medical lingo and symbols and it could use a lot of changes one being, what exactly is the purpose of the app? It’s simply storing data which apple stores anyway. Why not get your steps from the phone automatically, sleep/awake time automatically, a lot more automatically cuz the accuracy of newbies guessing the info isn’t going to be as accurate as a “general” determination based on phone use calls texts or unlocking the phone means your up and awake. Something simple as unlocking the phone so it is our duty to log in the app but without even having to think about it just using your phone first thing in the morning and last use of the phone logged meaning your “asleep” and when you open the app maybe have a notification saying “we logged you went to sleep and woke at these times based on your phone use/moment etc or whatever. Is this accurate? Yes or no and allow a slight edit to it and viola!!!! You have a solid dead accurate app!
