Simple and good
It’s maybe a little light on ai strategy, but I’ll take that over mid-game ads and clunky, cluttered interfaces.
Great design, but needs work on functionality
First off, this app looks great—probably the best available in that regard. However, it does need some features added to be something I’d actually want to use. Primarily, there’s no doubling cube, and the computer plays very poorly, with no option to change the difficulty setting. There are also some minor annoyances like not being able to move the same checker with both dice at once with one tap. If they add that functionality, this could easily become my preferred backgammon app, and one I’d happily pay for even.
The best offline backgammon game
I w been struggling to find a decent backgammon game which I can play in the subway. This is better than anything else I’ve tried so far, and I’ve gone through 12-14 of them.
AI seems to be reasonably competent, although I’ve only played two games so far before the app asked for a review 🙄
When bearing off there are some minor quirks, and I’ve also not found out how to double, but those niggles aside this is good enough for me to delete every other backgammon app I have installed.
