Description
Frenzy, stress and fatigue are all factors that can produce dissociative syndromes and lead you to forget what is impossible to forget.
With a sound, vibration and message, our app is geared to bring your cognitive capabilities back to you and to safeguard the safety of children in the car.
No sensor, no additional device, our app notices when you leave the car and after a few steps asks if the baby is with you.

Version 5
The Baby on Board App detects that the iPhone you are carrying goes from the (motion car) state to the (motion walk) state. If in this case you have forgotten the child in the car it emits a small sound and a local notification. That's what sound is for. To function, the App requires consent to be given to: movement and fitness, localization, local notifications. Consent is not absolutely mandatory but at the discretion of the user, who can however revoke it at any time from the option: set up monitoring. In the event of an alert, a red button appears on the screen, reminding you to check if the child is okay.

Lots of bugs
It sometimes alert right after a drive, sometimes it can be 10-15 minutes after the drive , but the most annoying part is many alerts during a drive. Even if I tap “stop monitoring “ it keeps alerting.
Another thing is the alert trigger a dialogue with a lot of text about the app permissions , I would expect it to be shown only once and not keep asking for permissions after every drive .
To summarize- better than nothing, but bugs in the app makes using it very annoying.

What you wrote are not bugs, but precise rules of operation for such an app.
- “It sometimes alert right after a drive, sometimes it can be 10-15 minutes after the drive , but the most annoying part is many alerts during a drive”: the alerts sound when the phone switches from “car” state to “walking” state; so, under normal conditions (verified with many tests), alerts should not occur. We suggest you to keep the phone in an horizontal position while driving. Switching from “walking” state to “car” state, with an active alert, it will be stopped and a new monitoring cycle starts.
- “Even if I tap “stop monitoring “ it keeps alerting.”: for now the “stop monitoring” works until the state (location and fitness) of the phone changes. Anyway we will work on this feature.
- “Another thing is the alert trigger a dialogue with a lot of text about the app permissions , I would expect it to be shown only once and not keep asking for permissions after every drive .”: to automatically starts the app, we are obliged by Apple to show this alert. Anyway we will work on this feature.
