Description
Art Thief helps you review and manage the hundreds of artworks available at the Art League's Patrons’ Show in Alexandria, Va. Plus it makes the event and the planning for it more fun. With Art Thief you'll be able to download this year’s artwork, rate it and put it into a list based on your personal preference. During the show, Art Thief makes it easy to quickly record track which artworks have been taken chosen so that you're ready to make a selection when your name is called. There are all sorts of bonus features that help you share the art on social media and vote for your favorite piece.
Held annually on President's day weekend for over more than 40 years, the Patrons' Show is a fabulous event where in which hundreds of artists donate their work and hundreds of patrons go home with beautiful artworks. The money raised goes to support a great institution. Of course with hundreds of artworks, creating and managing a long list of the artwork that interests you requires a lot of effort. Not to mention the scramble to keep your list up to date during the show. Art Thief is here to help and it's free.

Making a Great Event More Sustainable!
I love that Art Thief has been able to reduce the amount of paper we consume during the Patrons Show. This was my third show. The first time I only used the paper catalog of listed pieces- and I used THREE. Almost a whole tree... The second show I used The Art Thief app, and only one catalog as insurance since the app was a little bumpy. This year I went completely paperless including my tickets, and it was seamless. I 100% love this app! It improves the overall experience of the Patron’s Show and makes me feel even better that funds that might have gone to paper production actually go to the Art League. Every penny counts, and I’m happy to support any effort that encourages environmentally sustainable events! The creator(s) of this app deserves major recognition! I can’t wait for this to be the norm for all attendees of the Patron’s Show.
Absolutely fabulous
Thank you so much for creating this app - this is my 14th year at the Patron’s Show. This year I used the app exclusively for ranking and choosing my art (last year I used it somewhat but also had prepared my usual paper backup). I can’t tell you how much easier it was to just use the app and it all worked perfectly. (Although I would have loved the barcode scanning feature to “catch up” ... if you had that option somewhere during the breaks I didn’t see it.)
But again - love the app, love how easy it made everything and it worked great!!!
Is Art Being Removed?
I sorted my art a few weeks ago and now all of my top picks are gone. I deleted and reinstalled the app and the art selection seems very different and none of my favorites that I remember are there.
