They fixed the glitch and seem to be functional. Yes, they lowered the point amount but it’s not like I am doing anything extra and I still get a little extra. Hopefully no glitches the next time I am ready to cash out.

Hello. Cash out is a glitch that happened on 30th December and we are working on a fix. It took longer than usual due to holiday season but app will work as usual by 8th January. All points are safe and sound, so it is a minor delay only. We also answer all emails in 24 hours. Let me start by saying that I RARELY leave reviews but it has gotten so bad that I must They’ve changed the structure of earning points but they’ve made it sooo hard that it isn’t even worth it anymore. It used to be more advantageous. Being a part time gig worker I used to be able to get at least $10-$15 dollar gift cards. I’ve participated in calls on how to make it better and they’ve done the opposite. The challenges are really geared towards FULL TIME gig workers. For example in May…you had to make $2000 dollars before you could even get a $5 gift card…again not worth it. I’ve emailed the company with feedback but they aren’t listening. It’s all about how the company can gain. I’ve expressed concern about selling information especially since the rewards are so low/unattainable. They swear they aren’t selling information, if not how/why else would they be in business. Increase rewards levels, decrease payout = more profits for them

Thanks for taking the time to give us feedback, particularly if this isn’t something you’d usually do. To start off with, we would like to point out that we do take all feedback onboard, we do listen and most importantly appreciate users taking time to tell us how we could improve what we do. Our product is in constant development, we understand that at this moment in time it’s not as advantageous for part-time workers and we’re truly working on rectifying that.

It’s also important for us to underline that we do not sell people’s information, nor are we solely focused on our own gain and profits. While we’re fully aware we’re not quite there yet, our primary focus is to provide gig workers with an app they can use to maximize their time and income, make more informed decisions about when and where to work, be rewarded for the work they’re already doing and so on. We also invest in community projects aimed at supporting gig workers. All this to underline once more that our primary concern is providing gig workers with value, not abusing people’s trust by selling data or whatnot.

Honestly, we’re sorry you no longer find our application useful and we’re also extremely sorry you feel like you’re not being listened to and that your time was wasted. We can assure you we do listen, we do care about your feedback and we’re developing the app as we speak to make it more valuable for all gig workers.

I used this app a couple of times and even advertised for them. Not anymore unless something changes. New updates without advising anyone:

$1 used to equal 2 points. Now, $2 is 1 point.
Gift cards have doubled in price. 500 points used to be a $5 card, now it’s 1000 points.

If my math is right, $2000 earned is $5, not even worth the time. That’s up a little bit (sarcasm) from the $250 earned it used to take to get the $5 card. You now only need to make 8x more for the same reward. On top of that, the reward redeem isn’t working at all.

Per their T&C, $1 should be 1 point. But that’s not true. I’ve sent them an email explaining the frustration. I will update my review when I get feedback, or when they go back to how it was.

** I have been informed that points will also now expire on a monthly basis, and you can only redeem up to $20 per month on cards. You also may have noticed some points are missing, that’s because they deleted any points made in 2020. This makes the app completely useless. Added this app to my delete list until this changes.

AppjobsRewards, you know you are making bank from selling our data. You started to get popular and now you are backing up to make even more from us. That’s absolutely insane and I hope you fix this, for the sake of your app.

We're very sorry about your recent experience with the app. Our intention with the app has, and always will be, to produce something that delivers value both to gig workers and the platforms they work on. Unfortunately we were not able to keep up with old way of giving point in order to still doing that. We know we did not communicated it the right way earlier and we understand your frustration. Again, we are sorry about that.

We don't plan to make any changes to the base value of cards or the exchange rate from points to $. From 4th January onwards, you'll now collect 1 point for each $2 earned and be able to redeem a maximum of $20 per month. Points will still be given based on when your work activity happened, but will now expire at the end of each month.

But, we'll also be expanding the ways you can earn points in the future, including campaigns that boost points earned through specific gig apps, and rewarding other activity with points–such as providing reviews for the apps you work with. Look out for updates on this in the coming weeks!
