It works but… it’s awkward to use
First, the app opens and runs in portrait mode only on iPad, why? Just … why? Then, it is possible to switch in landscape mode when connected to windows but then, the Apple pen is not recognized, so if an application in Windows starts not centered, then, good luck getting to move the window with your finger sausages or the awkward virtual mouse. It works, but it is very frustrating to pilot a Windows OS with an iPad, really!
Bare minimum
It barely passes the minimum. App on phone can’t be protected by a pin or biometrics which makes it easy to infiltrate your own saved devices if someone gets hold of your phone. Major security flaw. Screen resolution on desktop leaves a ton to be desired even with paid subscription
And to make things way worse, if you leave your account logged in on a client’s PC to make remote access easier, anyone can go through the settings and reveal your saved access password.
Works great and is cheap
I use to use team viewer until it wanted me to pay a lot of money for my personal use. Found AnyViewer. The free version works just fine. I upgraded to the paid version which is very reasonable so I can use different devices to connect to my home computer. Highly recommend it.
