Anda 4+

When you tap the read card option, nine times out of 10, you get no response from the app. Been trying it a hundred different ways. I love that this now exists but it would be nice to have it working.

In late April 2024 I tried renewing my monthly card for May. I tried several time and it just errored out. It recognized my card correctly, but never even got to the payment screen before saying simply “Error!” Maybe it work on paper cards. Don’t know. Not ready for prime time. Hope they fix it soon!

First congratulations on deploying an Apple iOS app. It has long been awaited. Yes Apple has not been cooperative with NFC, but as far as I can tell, this app only “tops off” existing cards.

Suggestions:

1. Communicate with documentation on what this app actually delivers

2. Communicate future the state of what the intended use of this app will be. Example, can I use
my phone to tap in for metro rides or will it only be a place to reload my existing card?

TIP - Transportes Intermodais do Porto continues to follow the path with Apple to make the postpaid solution available with dynamic pricing, which has existed on the Android operating system since the launch of the Anda app. This solution, a pioneer worldwide, has been the subject of a longer analysis process and, although availability does not depend solely on the part of TIP, we believe that the conditions are created for this to be the new functionality to be integrated into iPhones by the end of the year.



This reference system offers the customer the possibility of traveling without knowing any rules of the ticketing system, paying at the end of the month for actual use with optimized fares.



In this case, the Andante transport ticket is digital (no need to use a physical card) and allows access to the entire Andante network.



The customer must register, define a monthly payment method, validate and travel.
