Description
This bible app strives for simplicity. All navigation is easy to find and accessible at the top of the screen and at the end of chapter, so you can quickly move around. It doesn't have any complicated features, and it doesn't send you push notifications. This app is for those who enjoy the pure, simple joy of reading the bible, unencumbered.
The translation used is referred to as "Amplified." This is currently my favorite version, as it lends itself towards truly understanding what the authors of the bible meant.
This app, like all the other free bible apps out there, is ad supported. The difference is, I promise never to interrupt the experience with full screen ads. So many other apps out there do, and it's really annoying (that's actually what led me to create this app). By downloading this app, you are helping to support an independent app developer, and a christian, to make a living.

Simple layout
it is the Amplified Bible with the nuances and extended text that makes it so valuable. The controls are easy: touch the header at the top of the screen, a wheel appears at the bottom Left, through which you r roll to the book you want, then you roll the wheel on the right for the chapter you want. You then tap above the wheel and you are taken to the book and chapter you wanted. If you tap on a verse options appear and you can copy the verse with its book and chapter annotated. 5 stars ★★★★★
Perfect
I have used the Amplified Bible for my personal use for years. I love how it “amplifies” a single word that truly doesn’t have one single word in the English language to give it accurate meaning. Although I’ve had a hard copy, I wanted a copy on my phone for ease when traveling. After I learned how to use this app (I should have read the other reviews 😄), it worked perfectly for my personal use while on a trip to Europe. I would defend recommend it.

I have several Bible apps that I use but I wanted the Amplified Bible App. I found this app to be a perfect and very easy app to use. I didn’t want or need all of the other things that most developers try to throw in that makes the app more complicated. It is perfect. So simple to use once you see how to use it. For what it is I definitely give it a five rating.
