When using public transportation, it is important to know where your bus is and when it will arrive. Ames Ride is a reliable, modern application that informs riders of current bus locations and arrival times in Ames, IA.

- Mark favorite stops - by marking your favorite bus stops, you can quickly access them and view upcoming arrivals.
- Mark favorite stops - when viewing the list of routes, your favorite routes are displayed first, allowing for fast access.
- View arrivals from favorite routes only - when looking at upcoming arrivals, you likely only care about the routes you frequently use. Ames Ride can show only arrivals from your favorite routes.

Simply perfect
This is better than any other bus time app I have used in London, San Francisco Bay Area, Seattle, Copenhagen, Paris, Stockholm or really ever.
It is simple, and ACCURATE.
An improvement would be a way to see the seasonal schedule of each line/stop like they are listed on the CyRide website; this makes planning a return journey easier. Otherwise thank you for bringing this technology to our otherwise great bus system in little ol’ Ames Iowa.
Easiest transport app i’ve ever used!
Ames Ride has been very accurate for all busses I’ve taken, and shows their location on the app! Super easy user interface too. Highly recommend!
Perfect Transit App
This app looks beautiful and is very intuitive. The stops, times, and routes are accurate. I switched from MyState to this app and have not looked back since. Wonderful work!
