This app is for participants in Capital Group RKDirect 401k employer sponsored retirement plans (i.e., plan ID’s that start with BRK or IRK and are accessed at capitalgroup.com/retirement/participant).
It is not meant for other account types, including American Funds Traditional, Roth and SIMPLE IRA’s or 529 college savings accounts for investors.
If you’re not sure this app is for your plan, contact your employer.
Use this app to:
View key account details such as:
- Balances across investment options and contribution types
- Your personal rate of return
- Transaction history
- Future contribution allocations
- View outstanding loans and recent withdrawals
Make changes to your account, as allowed by your plan:
- Exchange between funds
- Rebalance your account
- Adjust future contribution allocations
- Update your address, phone and e-mail address

Love this app!
This is my first experience having a 401k so I’m definitely a bit lost. This app makes it so incredibly easy to understand exactly what my 401k is doing. It updates how much is contributed by my work and myself each payday, it tracks where my contributions are allocated and allows me to change it right from the app. I don’t need to worry about having my employer middle man my questions because this app handles everything!
Stops working
It has done this before. App worked great. Then all of a sudden won’t open. Have deleted it and reinstalled it several times then does it again. Has bugs that needs to be fixed. I see several other people have had the same issue. When it worked it was great. A shame.
Reset Information
It had been some time since I logged on to my account and i forgot my user name and password.
I found the representative I spoke with to be very helpful and efficient. He informed me that the system had updated and walk me through setting up new log in information. A great help
