Crappy app

I have been trying to end my daughter’s subscription for awhile but the money wasn’t pulling from my account so I let it go. I couldn’t do it in the app because it won’t let you do ANYTHING if you haven’t paid.

The money recently pulled and I let that go and decided I’d finally go ahead and cancel it. Nope. The app is still asking me to rerun payment. I have reached out to the company via their website and Facebook. We’ll see how they get this fixed.

Hello! I'm sorry to hear you had trouble with our app, but it sounds like you were trying to use it for functions that it was specifically designed not to have. Our app is designed to provide parents at our karate school with convenient information about our class schedules, curriculum and training videos to aid our students, and convenient ways to sign up for events and order equipment and gear. I'm afraid you can not end your karate membership from the app.



It is extremely easy to end your karate membership absolutely anytime though...just tell us. This isn't a Netflix subscription, and we don't feel like it should be treated like one. Our instructors pour their heart and soul into their classes, in-person, with your kids, helping build them up into the best versions of themselves they can be. We feel strongly that sort of relationship should not be ended with a push of a button in an app. But we know that people do need to end their membership for all sorts of reasons, and we understand. And we make it easy. If you don't want to tell us in person, you can call us, text us, email us, or even message us on social media, and we will be happy to assist you. But you do have to speak to an actual person. We won't try to make you jump through hoops, and we never try to lock students into long-term training contracts. In fact, I'd say we're very friendly and easy to talk to.

I personally teach many of our classes, I am personally writing this reply, and I am usually the one personally returning emails and phone calls when you contact our office. I am always happy to help students and parents, even if it is just to help them cancel their membership.
