Altimeter & Precision - Simple 4+

This app is great. I’m a long-haul truck driver and its simple interface is not distracting and tells me just what I want to know - the altitude. The free version is great - the only real drawback is I can’t choose the interface color. And that it’ll put me on the map too, is a great option. I’d pay for it if they added a clock feature/option to the main page.

My cousin had an old analog barometer based altimeter that you had to guess about the accuracy because of the variances of the local air pressure. When the weather was rainy the altimeter would read low. When the sun was shining, the altimeter would read high! That is my problem no longer. Now the altimeter judges my altitude based on GPS. Hip hip hooray!

The gps I use has a mind of its own like many electronics these days.
Only once in a blue moon does it tell me my altitude.
My first GPS a addition on my laptop told me that altitude in big bold numbers.
But this app works great for me. I am a trucker and love to know what the altitude is when I go to sleep. As I drive coast to coast my altitude changes all the time.
