Disorganized and Disappointing
App is glitchy and still in development. Developer states he hides items/stickers months before a hunt begins. Offers a monetary prize, but can’t confirm items/stickers required to win a hunt are still in place even though the app confirms and verifies the solutions and initial locations. On more than one occasion, the hunt failed due to developer’s disorganization and poor execution. Overall, presents as bait and switch and not a legitimate treasure hunt. At best, the developer is unreliable, belligerent, careless, disorganized, and rude. At worst, the developer is a fraud and the app is a scam. Disappointing because the app has such potential to be a fun treasure hunt - the clues were fun to piece together, the puzzle aspect of the game was solvable and made sense cohesively. It is clear that there was thought and effort put into the clues - but the real life aspect of the game is a complete mess - so much so that it feels like a scam. Additionally, the in-game purchase of chance based clues that may provide an advantage over other players calls into question the overall legality of the hunt given that it is owned and run by an unlicensed Missouri based entity.
