Alexicom AAC 4+

Free App

I have been using the free app for a while, despite constantly having to remake pages every time my employer updates my iPad. I like the flexibility of being able to create my own pages. However, suddenly I am getting an error message that my pages have expired and I have to renew or republish. Also, I am having issues with a child who has hand tremors tapping the screen too many times, which causes the screen to zoom. I attempted to turn off this feature but it didn’t work.

Hello Queen Jewl,
We discovered this bug two days ago and quickly began to resolve it. Today we submitted to Apple and the update is now available so you will no longer receive this error. Also, in the future so you don't lose any of your pages follow these steps to back up in iTunes using File Sharing:

1) Plug in the iPad to the computer (Mac or PC)
2) Select the iPad icon near the top.
3) In the left menu, select File Sharing.
4) In the right hand side, select the Alexicom app.
5) Drag the "Alexicom Files" folder to the desktop (or other backup location on the computer).
6) Wait for the file transfer to complete.

The pages are now backed up. If anything happens during the update, you can restore the "Alexicom Files" folder to the iPad by dragging the folder back into the Alexicom File Sharing window.

Misleading App Store

While the app itself isn’t the problem, it’s the App Store page is deceiving. On the App Store it says family sharing is supported but wanted me to pay, twice. That’s another issue that the front reviews on the app state free, yet I had to pay. A fee, no matter the size, isn’t free. I won’t pay twice for something that is supposedly able to be shared by family.

Problems in publishing & sharing online

I really like your app for the library you have provided & the tiles features too. Ease of use comes with tiles placing & linking pages which is an added feature more than Bitsboard. I can’t
-Use the pages of Public Library in scroll down menu option on the iPhone.
-Publish & Share my pages on my account online across iPhone & iPad. The personal board page (Quick talk) should be there in the Scroll down menu to use after I sign in.

Hello Rupa! We're happy you like parts of our app. In response to the things you can't do:
-We will look into the scrolling on the iPhone.
-Through our subscription, you can share pages onto as many devices as you choose. We are currently also updating the app to include sharing across devices through our other paid apps.
