AJCloud 4+

I’ve had my camera for about 6 months. I love this app for viewing the live feed from wherever I am. I also like that I can add people to share with so now my husband can also view live feed and to upgrade for cloud storage to keep footage is very reasonable. The picture quality is great in daytime color and night time black and white (unless light is turned on for color) night vision is very clear also. We absolutely love this app. Thanks creators of this app.

When I first got this camera I thought it was by far the best camera I had purchased (at that time I had 5 other cameras, all different brands). When I got this camera I put my SD card in it and I could look at any time any day of what the camera saw going back a couple weeks. I could also quickly access clips that had been recorded when it caught motion. The thing I liked the most is it did not require signing up for anything to access the camera.

Then a few months went by, maybe 6-8, there was an update and everything was in Chinese. My SD card suddenly said it was corrupt and stopped working so I replaced it and now it doesn’t say it is corrupt but will not allow me to access the recording as if nothing is on it. The clips that I use to be able to see when it caught recordings are now only able to be viewed for two days (they say two on the app unless you buy a subscription but it is 1 day).

Now 3 days ago there was another update and every time I open the app to see an alert I get hit with an ad I have to watch at least a portion of before I can see my camera. Put another new SD card in it and it will not even try to read it and the most suspicious thing is my internet security keeps sending me alerts that hackers from Russia have been stopped from accessing the device! I have unplugged it and will be taking it down tomorrow.

Save your money and go with something else. In the last 2 days, I am now confronted with Japanese ads when I even open the app. I can’t read it so I have no clue what I’m supposed to do to get it off the screen. I can’t tell if I’m declining something or agreeing to it. They also recently changed their previous policy on videos. Before, you could access all the videos from your device no matter how old, especially if you had a memory card. The memory card never works with mine but fine, the video stores to my phone and I can go back and check them. Now they’ve decided you can only view the videos for 36 hours (not a full 2 days as they claim). Anything over 36 hours old now requires a monthly premium price to view. This camera and its app has gotten worse over time. I shouldn’t have to buy the camera and pay a monthly premium to access videos stored to my phone or the cloud. I shouldn’t have to deal with foreign ads on startup that I can’t even read. I’d give this -5 starts if Apple would let me.
