What’s New

Version 3.0.0

1. Compatible with iPadOS 17.
2. The sender and recipient address label templates can now be repositioned and resized. To select the template, tap any where in its blank space or border. Four corner handles will appear. Move any handle to resize the template. Press and hold within a blank area to Drag&Drop, i.e., reposition. The template cannot be dragged outside the envelope template or overlap another address label template. See Section 4C "Position and Resize Envelope Objects" of the User Guide for details, in particular, using button controls as an alternate means to position/resize.
3. When a sender/recipient address label template is resized, its containing address objects (image, monogram, address box and/or line) are resized proportionally.
4. When starting to move a label object or resize it using a corner handle, it was first repositioned. Pan montion is now completely smooth.
5. It may be difficult to select an address label object, e.g., its blank space is narrow. It is easier and best to use the rubber tip of a stylus pen or an Apple pencil to press on the label object's white space/handle and drag it.
6. Minor bug fixes.
7. If you have any issues, e-mail them to support@verusapps.com to get them resolved. We welcome suggestions for improving the app.

Difficult to use

I bought this app hoping for a SIMPLE app to address envelopes. The help files were of no help. A lot of the terminology used in the help files are way above my educational level. It mentions associated programs that I have never heard of or used. I contacted the creator of the app and still disappointed.

Developer Response ,

In multiple correspondences with the end-user, detail instructions were given on how to use the app in the simplest of cases with references to further details in the User Guide. Other apps that might better meet their needs were identified.

Simple addressed envelopes can be created in just a few steps if the end-user is willing to accept app defaults for address label templates, text font and text color. Only the sender address and recipient addresses have to be selected in Contacts. Then the envelopes loaded and Print selected. Depending on the printer, the default Print Options may have to be set that mirror instructions in the printer’s User Manual on how envelopes must be loaded.

What I Was Looking For

It works! Especially, if I connect my IPad up to the same router that my printer is on, LOL. I am old school that needed a way to print envelopes of different sizes for an occasional letter or bill. Decades ago you could do this in word programs but I rarely use a laptop these days since my IPad purchase. I just printed on a #6 3/4 envelope where the addresses was in the correct positions. Woohoo! One thing is that when I went to preview and printed, it did print a green line around the edge of the envelope. I don’t care for now but will look to see if there is a fix later. I might check out your Recipe App later.

Developer Response ,

Pleased the app met your expectations. The idea of previewing is to print an envelope outlined in green on a sheet of paper and overlay an actual envelope on the outline to verify the address labels line up as you intended. Use the Print -> Printer sub-step to print the address labels on actual envelopes.

Biggest waist of money

I thought this would make Christmas card sending easier, but not being able to get the first address in place after about a dozen tries, I gave up.

Developer Response ,

Please contact support@verusapps.com and I will help you solve your issue. I am not sure what you mean by "get an address in place." An address label app may serve your needs better.
