5 Calls: Contact Your Congress 4+

The beauty of this app is that it identifies important, up-to-date issues that citizens may want to advocate for, then, if you click on the topic that interests you to contact your representatives about, it shows you exactly who to contactIn your state, your specific representatives, and you click on the photo of their face/name, and their phone number populates. You touch their phone number and make the call. You can also report your calls so they keep track of how many people have contacted their reps. I've never found a more helpful or streamlined resource for making political advocacy easy. I highly recommend this app!
Developer: could you please make another app called "1 Rep"with the same information? Only as a matter of choice architecture... the thought of making five calls often feels like more than I have time for, so I skip some days. If the mental framework was that I had to do only one thing, one action to contact one representative, and then feel like I succeeded rather than fell short of calling five, I'm sure I could motivate myself to do it seven days a week.

I have been using your app for about 4 years now. Thank you for the work your doing it is so important for everyone to use this app. You make it easy for people like me to call and state the issues. The hardest part is picking the issues I should call on. You have so many that need a voice, please don’t stop what your doing. You are helping the every day citizens to get involved and have a voice! I wish you had the phone numbers of our local state government.
A lot more damage starts at the state legislators offices. It would be nice to know what bills they are quietly trying to push through. Issues like districts being drawn in Republican’s favor. In a lot of districts it’s almost impossible to get a Democrat elected because of the way the district lines are made. Abortion rights is another big issue that’s controlled locally. I love what your organization has done already. I would love to see an app that deals with each of the states local officials. Thanks for all you’ve done and are doing.

For years, I never said anything to my federal representatives and senators. I didn’t understand that most of them don’t even respond personally, nor do their assistants. It’s easy to simply leave a phone message and state your peace.

5 Calls is brilliant! They make it easy to focus and gather your thoughts, even to the point of providing a script if you need one. These times of constitutional crisis are hitting us right and left, so it’s very difficult to know what to go after first as our constitution is assaulted.

I highly urge you to read the background on each of the issues presented, then read and even read through out loud the script provided. Then, make a point of doing this each day or several days a week. When our Congress is not standing up to the misuse and abuse of power, we must act from our hearts and speak up about what it is we want our government to do. It’s up to us; please say something.
