Description

This is a quick reference guide of the 2022 Incident Response Pocket Guide. Not only is each guideline broken into an easy to read individual file, but there are also a whole pile of useful tools:

Search - Search the titles and content of each guideline from one spot.
Tools - Four tools are included: Mapping which will tell you your location, Weather which will tell you the weather for your location, Notes which will show notes entered for each guideline, and Files which will let you download files by entering the link or scanning a QR code.
Favorites - Each guideline can be marked as a "Favorite" for quick and easy access.

The weather tool requires you to have internet access, but all of the other tools can be used anywhere you are. The data is stored on your device so you have access to the IRPG even when you are in the middle of nowhere.

Thanks for taking a look at this app.

What’s New

Version 1.02

We fixed a few things with how the weather was handled. Weather data is only available within the United States of America. We also added some missing data to the menu system. Thanks for using this app.

Outdated

Update: the developer contacted me to say it is up to date. This is for the developer because you couldn’t proofread your own information. You left out the pages for DUTY, RESPECT, INTEGRITY, firefighter stress management, and literally THE ENTIRE fire environment section (page33-51). Please update the app to reflect the current version as you have it advertised as such.

I just paid 3 dollars for this app over a free one because it’s the only listed as the 2022 version. There is a scan of the new version as the last option on the home page. Otherwise, all the information on the home page is from the previous version! Did the developer even check to see if there were changes? I feel ripped off.

Developer Response ,

I’m sorry that you feel ripped off. If you compare the individual items in the app with the full 2022 version of the IRPG you will see that it is the 2022 version and not the 2018 version. Each update done by the NWCG is not a complete rewrite but only an update of critical or new information. Rest assured that the app that you purchased does contain the most up to date information as required to be part of your PPE.

Update: The Duty, Respect, and Integrity items are under the Operational Leadership item. In checking your comment, you were right, the enter fire environment section was literally missing. I apologize for the error. An update has been submittal to Apple for review and should be available shortly for download. Thank you for using the app.
