闪电新闻是山东广播电视台倾力打造的融媒体新闻客户端，是山东广播电视台新闻资讯在移动互联网上的首发平台。自2017年1月11日上线以来，闪电新闻坚持“直播”“短视频”双核驱动，直播超8100场，已具有每年8万条以上的短视频生产能力，全年流量达45亿+，单条点击量最高突破1.5亿人次。《山东一分钟》等短视频成全网爆款；孵化的全媒体产品专栏“拾城记”团队制作的《南阳岛上的放鹰人》入选2019年度第二季度优秀国产纪录片。
目前，已入驻“闪电号”平台的政务号、机构号、媒体号、专栏号、自媒体号600多个，每月发稿8000多条，并向央视新闻+、腾讯新闻、今日头条等合作平台输送大量优质内容。闪电新闻与齐鲁网的媒体影响力持续提升。
