Finally!!!:) they fixed them!
Finally the games so far that I've played are fixed so now it deserves a 5 star rating! If you played these games as a kid or have a kid yourself, they are an awesome game for all ages:) I'm 23 and enjoy them like I did as a kid and my little cousin who is 3 loves them as well!

Tested the games and they do work and have sound, however you need to make sure your mute switch on the side of your phone is not showing orange and is disabled. If you have a new model without the mute switch you need to make sure your sound toggle is enabled in Control Center (the bell icon) - so far so good working on iOS 17.5.1
Unplayable Now…
Bought these games for my kids to enjoy, having grown up on them myself. Was a bit worried as some reviews said there was no sound, but there wasn’t any problem with that. The games are excellent…or they were. A recent update changed, added, and moved around buttons that supposedly makes navigation/saving easier. In the process of this, the screen sizes for the games (on iPad at least) have been made smaller and my kids have found it harder to click on the more minor details of the games. Worse though, the games have become unplayable. About 20 clicks into the game and it just…stops working. Freezes. Can’t click on anything to move the game forward or the characters. The app ends up needing to be closed and restarted, and if my kiddos didn’t save they have to start from the beginning again… and they lose interest. The games were fine the way they were before. Will happily change my review if the bugs get worked out, but in the meantime, don’t waste your money.
