4K Relax Home ‪+‬ 4+

Suppose it could be good, but also definitely a “bait & switch” going on here…

This app (bundle) advertises “4K” also known as “UHD (Ultra Hi-Def” which is 3840x2160p. I saw nowhere in the details that you’d be limited to a single resolution of “720p” which isn’t even considered “FHD - Or Full Hi-Def” but rather a 1st generation Hi-Def, which used to look great, back when using bulky, CRT televisions with massively curved screens causing further image distortion, but I digress…. It appears that after purchasing, the first thing that happens upon opening the app, is a solicitation to download (and pay for, albeit at a 50% discount) additional content. Wait, I thought this was a bundle that supposedly included “everything”. Then after opening several different aquariums and fireplaces, all looked to be “promising” but they were all blurry. Then I see in the settings, they’re showing in only 720p. Although there are other options for different resolutions, you do NOT have access to them, they’re all locked. Furthermore, they only go up to a maximum of 1080p, NOT the 4K (UHD) advertised. And yes, my Apple TV is a 4K model, as well as TV. Both fully supporting 4K as well as various HDR modes. Then after looking around, I see that there’s no apparent option for a 1-time purchase, but rather only monthly subscription models. This app could be good, but after the bait and switch tactic used already, I’m hesitant to put more money into it, why, just to see what is “promised” but still not delivered? Also. There was no mention of these paid options from the in-app purchases.
