Mobile devices are a mainstay in today’s businesses and usage only continues to grow. Employees have traditionally relied on mobile devices to stay connected, but this has always meant that an employee has to distribute a separate phone number to ensure that business associates or customers can reach them when they need to be reach. This also results in management of multiple voice mailboxes which decreases productivity and increases the chances of a message not being heard in a timely manner.
NEC uMobility is a SIP client that registers to your NEC voice platform (SL1100, NEC SV8100/8300/8500, SV9100/9300/9500 and UNIVERGE 3C) and enables your smart phone or tablet to act like your office phone.
Make/Receive calls from your NEC SV8100/8300/8500, SV9100/9300/9500 or UNIVERGE 3C voice system over a Wi-Fi or 3G connection on your iPhone or iPod Touch
*** This fixed mobile converged (FMC) solution leverages the enterprise voice infrastructure provided by UNIVERGE SV8100/8300/8500, SV9100/9300/9500 or 3C communication platforms.
