We believe God is the Creator of the universe and giver of all that is good. God is embodied in the presence and teachings of Jesus, who shows us how to live and love. God is the Spirit who unites us and enables us to love more fully and make a difference in the world.

We believe that we are on a journey of learning and discovery. Questions are essential and honest discussion is healthy. We believe that grace is the love, honesty, and compassion that God gives and shows us in Jesus.

We believe that the Bible is the beautiful, inspired book that guides our faith. We value diverse understandings of scripture because we believe God speaks to us in different ways. The essence of our faith is best summarized by Jesus, who said, “Love God with all your heart, soul and mind and love your neighbor as yourself.”
