The Breast Cancer Surveillance Consortium (BCSC) Advanced Breast Cancer Risk Calculator is an interactive tool designed by BCSC scientists using data collected on U.S. women undergoing routine screening mammography to estimate six-year cumulative risk of developing advanced breast cancer based on annual (every year) mammography or biennial (every two years) mammography. Advanced breast cancer is defined as prognostic pathologic stage II or higher.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: The BCSC Advanced Breast Cancer Risk Calculator was designed for use by health professionals. If you are not a health professional, you are required to discuss the results and your personal risk of advanced breast cancer with your health care provider before making any medical decision.

- New algorithm improving the accuracy of density plot of population distribution.
- Providing three modes for the density plot of population distribution that can be switched by double tapping:
1. The optimized view is that the range of the x-axis describes the user's risk position as the best and the most visible.
2. The view that the maximum range of the x-axis is half of the largest risk in all combinations, shows the overall distribution the best.
3. The view that the maximum range of the x-axis is the largest risk in all combinations, which shows the entire distribution but may not be the most ideal to view due to the low population of the high-risk groups.
- Optimizing the number of ticks displayed in the density plots when the x range increases.
- Handling overflow text displayed in the dropdown menus.
