WikiPal Europe has over 265,000 Europe Wikipedia & Wikivoyage geocoded places in its database. You can browse places around your current location or around a chosen location.
Because all place data is resident in the app cellular data usage is kept to a minimum.
Search capability included such that if you search on your IOS device for a major city or place of interest and returned results allow you to go directly to the it.
WikiPal may be used offline.
Offline Capabilities: Wikipedia & Wikivoyage article text and offline maps.
Not Available Offline: driving & walking directions, nearby businesses, and the ability to choose a location other than your current location.
