L'App ufficiale dell'Associazione Europea delle Vie Francigene, Itinerario Culturale del Consiglio d'Europa, consente di orientarsi con facilità lungo l’itinerario, a piedi e in bicicletta. La mappa interattiva consente di visualizzare la propria posizione sul percorso tramite il GPS del dispositivo, anche senza connessione internet: le mappe e le tracce possono essere precaricate, evitando costi di roaming.
In caso di distrazione un allarme avvisa se ci si allontana dal percorso, ed è possibile segnalare eventuali problemi sull’itinerario comunicando la posizione GPS.
Le strutture di accoglienza lungo la Via sono localizzate sulla mappa, ed è possibile chiamarle direttamente dallo smartphone.
L’App è stata realizzata con il contributo delle Regioni attraversate dalla Via Francigena.

Very good app
I used it for 4 weeks walking on the VF ( Lucca-Rome)Good and clear information. The navigation was very reliable
Buggy
Map mode is a pain to work with. Somehow it always zooms back to the entire route. Super annoying. Come on guys, at least test the app before you launch it.
Other issues are: sometimes the whole app just hangs infinitely.
