Designed by a former UMass Amherst alumnus, the comprehensive database powering UMass Locator was developed from scratch during the Spring semester of 2024 in collaboration with the Sustainability Department.

UMass Locator integrates with ongoing sustainability initiatives, like the UMass Zero Waste initiative and the Campus Race to Zero Waste yearly competition.
