Master MABUNI Kenwa (1889-1952) founder of the Shito-Ryu was first a pupil of Master ITOSU asutsume (1830-1915) living in SHURI at the beginning of its career. He then studied under the direction of Master HIGAONA Kanryo (1852-1915) living in NAHA.
The school name of SHITO-RYU finds its origin in the names of the great Masters, by the connection of the two first syllabes constituting their names, -SHI pronounced ITO (in ITOSU), -TO pronounced HIGA (in HIGAONA)

This application was designed by Daniel CERON, karate teacher Shito-Ryu 7th dan student of Master Hidetoshi NAKAHASHI, graduate DESCHI UCHI state of Master Mabuni. and developed by Jean-Claude BLOT, 1st DAN SHOTOKAN.
We designed it to accompany karatekas for obtaining their different belts.
