• Scan the barcode of a book to quickly add it to your list
• Search online to find and add books
• Alternatively, add a book manually by typing in its details

• Quickly log the dates you start and finish each book with a tap or swipe
• Order the books, to help plan what to read next
• Create your own custom lists, like "Wishlist", "Favourites", etc
• Record the current page of books you're reading

• No online account or signup needed
• All data is private, stored on-device or in your iCloud account
• Export and import all your data
Some premium features require Reading List Pro, which can be purchased in the app. The app remains fully-featured when used without Reading List Pro.

Now you want me to pay again.
Another ‘lifetime’? (I only have 1 lifetime).
That’s called a scam.
Nothing less.
A subscription for anything without a constant flow of new content or service is also a scam.
Nothing less.
You are scammers. Frauds.

Sorry to hear about this confusion. You absolutely don’t have to pay again — I have always honoured all lifetime unlocks. If you are seeing the paywall again, have you tried tapping “Restore Purchases”? That should just grant you access again. If that is not working, then that is a genuine bug which I’ve not heard about. Please email me at feedback@readinglist.app, so I can investigate and help restore your access.
I am just one developer, working hard on an app which I hope people like, charging what I feel is an honest price for a quality product. I absolutely do not wish to cheat or trick anyone. I do contest that charging a subscription at the cost of around one book per year automatically equates to a scam: the service that is paid for is the ongoing maintenance and development of new features. The free feature set is itself, in my opinion, a useful product, and many people will not need to subscribe to the Pro features if they do not feel the need — this is fine with me.

Really good app
It’s a very useful app for keeping track of the books you’ve read, are in progress or you are planning to read! It’s very easy to use and has a nice overview of all the books.
An improvement that I would like to see would be a summary per year (number of books read).
