Use the PetSafe SMART DOG app with the PetSafe SMART DOG Remote Trainer (PDT00-15748) to train your dog and prevent jumping, digging and other misbehaviors. Innovative Bluetooth technology allows you to train your dog via your smartphone from up to 75 yards away. Send a signal for vibration, tone (beep) or static stimulation to your dog’s collar without the need of an external remote!
Use of the SMART DOG Trainer requires iPhones with iOS 8 or later.

Intermittent problems
After using the app and collar for a couple of weeks now I am still finding the connectivity problematic. Even when my dog is standing 6 meters away from me the signal strength ranges within seconds from weak to moderate to strong. This in no way corresponds to the advertising claims made by the manufacturer. I am constantly having to restart the app and reconnect when the collar is in use. This is the replacement collar as the first collar wouldn’t even charge properly. It was replaced promptly but I am a bit disappointed with this device and its app.
