Lampa — Digital & Film Camera 4+

Great photography app

So I have been using Lampa for a while now and I have come to love the style of pictures it takes. It has a kind of exposable camera feel to it, with the free trail of course. It would be cool if it stayed like that. Making the user to consciously think of what they are taking pictures of and when. The exposure lock is also cool, but VSCO had a exposure lock where you had to tap with two fingers and it would lock the highlights and the shadows (or maybe it was focus). I am not completely sure about the last one but I really loved that feature. I am very curious what kind of element the company will implement into the app. But simplicity is also a good thing. And also the community of phone photography has depleted a bit. VSCO and Lomography had that on lock for sure back in the day. I don’t know now anymore but it was so much fun. But to close I really like the app and can’t what is up next for the new update.

Only 5 photos

You need to pay a subscription or else you’re limited to 5 photos per day, which I think is crazy when the app is just filters. I wouldn’t mind a small one time fee but not this

Doesn’t seem to shoot in RAW

RAW format is missing.

Hello! Lampa isn’t actually designed as a RAW-shooting camera app:) We use RAW data under the hood to capture images, then process it through our own Capture Engine to create aesthetic shots straight from the camera, without the need for further editing. There are already plenty of apps focused on RAW shooting, but ours takes a different approach.
