Insecta provides an engaging way to explore the wonderful world of insects. It includes a collection of weird and colorful insects. Each member of the collection features a description, habitat information, and a gallery of photos. You’re able to interact with highly detailed 3D models of each insect and hang out with them in augmented reality.
The app’s amazing AR experience enhances users’ learning experience too. Choose from more than twenty insects from the collection and, in the blink of an eye, you’ll find one of those creepy creatures hanging out right by your desk. If your friends don’t believe you, take a picture and send it to them.
The app comes with multiple languages. Also, Insecta includes Siri shortcut just ask Siri to show insects information randomly by saying "Hey Siri, show me an insect".

Nice app. Ar is stunning. Hope it will get much updates so that the Insecta library gets more and more insects. And also good information.
Message for the developers;
Please please make a similar app like this or WoD but then about the human kind/ human family tree. Like Denisova ape man, Cro-magnon, Neanderthal
Etc etc.

Does not deliver
Too expensive for only about 15 pictures of insects with less information than you would find on any site.

The app covers 21 insects right now and we will add more insects on each update. Please consider that the app features 3D insects and it’s too hard to modeling many insects at once, but we are trying our best attempt to add more species as soon as possible.
