GPS Stone records and exports all your trips to your main computer for geo-tagging/photo-tagging or trip management.
Follow your trip on the map in real time, or use the detailed view with the current speed, average speed, altitude, traveled distance, position accuracy, direction, and more!
Once back home, review where you have been at a given time, and for how long. It also works for sport activities, cycling, car, trekking…
Additionally, GPS Stone can export the trip you've recorded in the standard GPX format. See your trip on Google Earth, or compatible software such as Atom GPS for PC or HoudaGeo for Mac.

The tracks recorded won't be recognised by HoudahGeo
HoudahGeo, the Macintosh geotagging application I use to write geolocation data to my Canon 5d Mark II images won't recognise the ostensibly standard .GPX tracks recorded by the GPS Stone iPhone app. The GPS tracks (in .GPX format as well), recorded with alternative software, however, do turn out to be perfectly compatible with HoudahGeo. That obviously calls for a one-star rating.
Another problem (by no means remotely as significant a drawback as the issue referred to above) is the developer's abstention from adapting the graphics to iPhone 4's retina display. Pixellation doesn't exactly flatter this beautiful screen.
I wouldn't encourage the developer to even attempt to amend the issues: there are so many working, much better designed - functionally and aesthetically - alternatives that it really makes no sense, dear developer, to attempt to improve your brainchild.
On the positive note, the application is free - something you should be lauded for.
