Chi siamo - Chi siamo
La Farsettiarte, fondata nel 1955 da Frediano e Franco Farsetti, nasce a Prato come Galleria d'arte e subito si distingue per la prestigiosa attività espositiva. Nel 1962 viene inaugurata la Casa d'Aste suscitando l'immediato interesse dei collezionisti e del mercato.
Galleria e Casa d'Aste hanno avuto percorsi paralleli e, pur dandosi reciproco impulso, hanno sempre mantenuto la propria autonomia, istituendo così qualcosa di unico nel panorama del mercato d'arte italiano.
Nel corso degli anni l'attività espositiva si è ampliata con l'inaugurazione delle gallerie di Cortina d'Ampezzo nel 1964, della Versilia nel 1969 e di Milano nel 1982. Infine, nel 1991 è stata inaugurata la nuova sede di Prato a fianco del Museo per l'Arte Contemporanea Luigi Pecci. L'imponente e moderna struttura, che ha contribuito all'intensificarsi delle aste e alla realizzazione di grandi mostre, è la sede operativa e di coordinamento della Farsettiarte.
