Most of the online games are against the computer
And here’s why;

- the name of the opponent is always generated by the computer for example greatcloud or doubleplay
- if I play against someone from my own country he/she doesn’t appear in the scoreboard
- the computer always makes very risky moves that a real player would never do
- the time the opponent is accepting the dubble invitation is always the same.
- the computer, off course, never chats back
- if I e-mail to the company behind backgammon (appgeneration) with these arguments they don’t reply. They know it’s true of course.

Concusion. Good game but not if you want to play online.

Play against the computer

90% of the games is against the computer and this is why:

1. When a players wins, he/she doesn’t pair in the country scoreboard
2. The computers often has a name generated by the system like; frozenfly or something. In the scoreboard almost all the players changes that name.
3. The computer always makes the same moves. For example, if you roll a 6 and a 1, players would use that to close the right row on the top-left playfield. The computer lets it open.
4. The computer always hits you, even if its super risky, a player would be smarter
5. The win change against a real player is 60/40 (When I play against friends, the win change against a computer is way higher!

Hello. Thank you for your feedback. Rest assured, you’re playing against real players. 1 - please note that leaderboards only show coins won on online games during that day or month. We will investigate this to check if leaderboard tracking is working correctly 2 - We encourage our players to change their usernames but, until they do so, they will have an auto generated username. Some choose to stick with it. 3- Each player has its own strategy, but there are some well known moves common to many 4- Some players enjoy bold moves that seem risky but can surprise opponents.
