Tlon Messenger is a new kind of app: the only tool that lets you own your communications and collaborate peer-to-peer with the people you care about most.

Yours to own, completely
Unlike most software out there, Tlon Messenger is decentralized and open source. Connect to Tlon Messenger with a unique ID you own. Your ID is a key to a stand-alone node that connects to a peer-to-peer network. This means no middlemen mining your data and no concern about its durability. If we disappear, you can continue to use our messenger.

Version 5.2.2
- Improves the "node stopped" login state by communicating more about the node's boot status and prompting the user to return to the backgrounded app via push notification.
- Fixes an issue where requesting membership to a private group may result in a stuck "Requested" item on the Home screen.
- Fixes an issue where the "Tap to retry" message for failed messages in Chat channels was not actually tappable.
- Fixes an issue where the Home screen could be missing the last-message preview from groups.
- Fixes an issue where banned members and users asking for private group membership were visible to non-group admins.
- Fixes an issue where tapping on a reference to a Gallery or Notebook post from a Chat channel would navigate to the Notebook or Gallery channel index, sometimes with the wrong content loaded around it. Now navigates directly to the referenced posts' detail view.
- Fixes an issue where creating a group and inviting a few ships, then creating another new group, the new group would have the previous ships pre-selected.
- Fixes an issue in onboarding where it was possible to request a OTP code for an invalid email address.
- Fixes an issue where navigating between channels (particularly after copying/pasting references) would retain some of the posts from the previous channel in line with posts from the freshly-navigated channel.
