الأحساء بشكل خاص هي مسابقة للقرآن والسنة والخطابة تحمل اسم أمير الأحساء الراحل
محمد بن فهد بن جلوي آل سعود رحمه الله تعالى، وبعد عدة نجاحات حققتها المسابقة في أعوامها العشرة صدرت بفضل الله الموافقة الرسمية بمقتضى الامر السامي برقم (42/ق/م )بتاريخ 27/3/1432هـ
بإنشاء مؤسسة خيرية تحمل اسمه وتكون ذات شخصية اعتبارية مستقلة ، وتتولى وزارة الشؤون الإسلامية والدعوة والإرشاد من خلال الأمانة العامة للمجلس الأعلى للجمعيات الخيرية لتحفيظ القرآن الكريم الإشراف على المؤسسة حسب ما تقتضيه أهداف المؤسسة وطبيعتها
