Yojimbo for iPad 4+

I was really looking forward to having Yojimbo on my iPad, but I've been massively disappointed with the Mac syncing aspects.

Unless I'm doing something stupid, it seems to crash regularly and generally won't even find the Mac on the same Wi-Fi network.

Great disappointment - expected much better.

Big fan of Yojimbo for storing all those annoying things you just want to have to hand - and for me having access to all that in one place is really useful. Finally I can now get to see all this on the iPad - great...

But... Version 1 is read-only (ok - so I'm hoping that this will be fixed soon - and it's not until you read halfway down the product web page that you actually get to find this out - thats a bit annoying). The app 'pairs' with your mac (very easy to do) to take a sync copy of the data on the mac onto the ipad - but it only does this when you are on the same local network as your Mac and only when Yojimbo is running on both the Mac and the iPad - it would have been soooooo much nicer for this to sync up from anywhere - again this needs to be fixed.

If you use Yojimbo a lot and have a lot of stuff in there then this is going to be useful to you - if you don't then don't bother - especially at this price!

I left off buying Yojimbo for iPad for quite a while but succumbed in the end in order to get access to all of the stuff stored in Yojimbo on my Mac which works fine. Disappointed though that it is still read-only so if I want to put something in Yojimbo on the Mac while away from it I have to use another app such as Evernote, Dropbox, email ... to get it there.

Today I realized another annoying deficiency when trying to share some text to another app for editing: it would only share to email, as a zipped attachment, so fairly useless.
