Works well, however, updates required to remove the need for keeping the camera in WIFI mode. If that is done, it should be possible to both give commands with your phone via the app and the camera at the same time. Additionally, you can see what you’re capturing in screen with both devices

This is supposed to be a companion app for the action camera with Wi-fi, which in my case was the only reason to buy this particular camera. While the app connects to the camera and shows a thumbnail image for the videos, that’s as far as the utility for it goes. Downloaded videos don’t play back in the phone or tablet, even after going through the horribly unfriendly task of adding the video to your photo library. You are better off transferring the files directly to your computer and ignoring the Wi-fi capabilities of the camera altogether and not bothering with this app at all. Very disappointed, wish I had checked the reviews for the app before buying. I have deleted the app and will attempt to get a refund for the camera.

The camera and video quality is okay, but the app is rubbish. Not a good user experience. It takes an age to transfer the videos to the phone through the cameras built in WI-FI, then if you want the videos available on your photo stream you have to go through the mystical and frustrating process of saving the video, which never seems to work the same way twice and also takes forever.

You can’t access videos saved on your device within the app unless you are connect to the camera via its WI-FI either, even if you have downloaded them. It really is a crap app.

I will be buying a GoPro, I would rather pay more for a better user experience.
