Wood Nuts & Bolts Puzzle 12+

There are many games out there that are very similar but for my money this is one of the best. The concept is basically that you have to move pins/nails/screws, whatever, around the board so that the planks become free and fall, the caveat being that you only have a limited number of free holes in which to place the screws, and if you move the wrong one, one or more planks will drop and cover a previously free holes.

It plays nicely and the graphics away are well done, although given the nature of the game you can't expect anything spectacular. To complete each level you have to complete an easy board and a hard one. My one annoyance I have with this game is that if you choose to restart the hard board it forces you to replay the easy board. As the name suggests, the easy board is, well, EASY; trivially so. Therefore being forced to play it again is a pointless frustration as it just slows down the gameplay and spoils the enjoyment of the game. If the developers changed the way this works I'd give five stars right away. And yes, I paid the £4.99 to remove ads already.

Thank you to the developers the game concept is great. The game play however is a real issue that is putting me off. The constant ads are causing a lot of problems. The game itself keeps crashing after every ad or in between each game whether it’s the easy half or hard half of the level. I can’t play even one level anymore without having to shut down and restart the app. Can you please fix these bugs as I can’t find a support page inside the app settings. The very long ads at each point whether to open an extra space, go back a step, retry level makes them not worth using as it makes the game slow, stops the game progressing or crashes it completely, so have to restart the full app again. The easy half of the level is fine but having to constantly redo it to get to the hard level where I am stuck is pointless and extremely annoying. The timer on the hard levels can be unrealistic as it can take a minute to strategise and as you get close to completing the timer is up, or else you spend a few days repeating the levels to remember all the steps you took before you can complete it fast enough for the timer. Lots of issues that need addressed which if rectified could make this game even more enjoyable and totally worth keeping for more levels. Please fix it.

I love this game, you do have to watch ads to unlock holes and unscrew however I get it , as that’s where the game is more challenging (not everything is handed to you on a plate)

I have experienced 2 glitches though where 1 level wouldn’t load (the app updated and it worked again) and now I have a glitch on level 224 where you need something to fall on a key to unlock it, however there is absolutely nothing on top or next to the key. The only one next to the key, is the one that needs unlocking.
I’m hoping this is another glitch and after another update it fixes, otherwise that’s 223 levels wasted 🤣
