Description
wNote is made to allow you to take a quick note on your Apple Watch when your iPhone isn't reachable. e.g. I use it at the gym when my iPhone is in a locker and disconnected from my Apple Watch. I also use it to privately scribble a quick note on my Apple Watch without having to use dictation.
You can use the Apple Watch app to take notes without using the iPhone app at all. The iPhone app (optionally) allows you to choose between Location Notifications or Event Reminders. If you choose to use Reminders, then notes created on your Apple Watch will sync to the Reminders app on your iPhone. The iPhone app (optionally) allows you to set a geofence location. If you create a note on your Apple Watch when you are outside of the geofence, it will attempt to notify you when you return to the geofence. e.g. If I create a note at the gym, then I'll receive a notification (or reminder) of the note when I return home.
Note: Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

Ratings and Reviews
Very promising, but not ready yet
The Watch side of the app works brilliantly. It takes and saves notes either spoken into the Watch or scribbled onto the screen letter by letter. The voice and writing recognition are Apple standard and really tremendous. One small point is that the microphone icon is missing from the button.
Sadly, I cannot get synchronisation with the iPhone to work at all. Consequently I have no way of copying the notes into other apps on the phone.
The Reminders app both on the phone and the watch remains ignorant of notes I have made. Location Notification on the phone finds my zip code on a map, but nothing more - there is no confirmation message when I have added the address, so I think the information is not getting through. I was not notified when I reached my address, even though notifications were turned on. I am hoping this is a correctable glitch.
Using the Reminders app on its own, you can do this kind of note entry already with just one screen press more. With one press less you can do the dictation using One Press. For me, the wNote compromise would be perfect if it worked, particularly as you can add it as a Complication to the watch faces.
