First is to say that the app is amazing and well thought of. Like most of the features and would recommend the bulbs and apps from Wiz.
Having used the app for several months now, I recommend the team to add some features which I think might help the users experience get better.
1. Add sunrise and sunset to the time. For example in the Schedules, I want to add a schedule 1 hour after the sunrises and 1 hour before the sun sets whereby the lights will go off and on respectively and also use the same to my SpaceSence. This means that the automation will be based on the daylight and not the time of the day which makes it more flexible.
2. Be able to change the brightness of the bulbs with a change of a %. I have noticed that the bulbs don’t change the brightness from 1% to 10% and only occurs when you get to 11% brightness.

I couldn't wait to set up my new smart bulbs. Although there were other brands I could have chosen, but Wiz smart bulbs were advertised as being fully compatible with Alexa, controlled either by voice command or through the app, offering a multitude of different settings, dynamic colour displays, and Circadian rythms. The SpaceSense function was an exciting prospect - and all of this fully automated!
Amazing, right?
I decided to set up my entrance hall and living room first with the SpaceSense movement sensor. Four bulbs in each area, spaced as per instructions. All set to the same sensitivity, the same dynamic colour display, at the same time
each day.
Simple, right?
Wrong. No matter how many times I’ve reset the lights, 2 out of 4 still illuminate different colours to the all of the others but static instead of dynamic.
My bulbs in my bedroom are no better and on top of that the circadian rhythm setting doesn't work.
To top everything off - the ‘fully compatible Alexa voice control function’ - DOESN’T WORK EITHER!
Outside of Alexa turning the lights on and off,
everything else has to be done manually via the app.
None of the app’s fundamental functionality, automation or multiplatform compatability claims been fulfilled or satisfied or resolved in my experience. Judging by other user’s
comments in pretty much every review that's listed, I'm not alone in that.

I’ve uninstalled this, as it’s just a bad app. The UX is horrible and loud and cluttered. The functionality was, well, not functional. Error messages didn’t provide any useful information for problem-solving. It’s such a shame because the lights and bulbs are nice (and the lamps/luminaires are made from plastic, which anyone with an inquisitive toddler in the house will much prefer to glass!), but the app is just awful. I’m genuinely curious - at what stage of the process did the developers think about the users for the first time? Because it’s really clear that it wasn’t in the early stages, when user needs should be considered for ideal design. Please go back to the drawing board, get some preliminary user input about what we want and need, and then design a brand new but GOOD app to accompany the products. Or please at least let us know it’s just not happening, so we can plan to move over to a different brand of smart lighting!
